Steinex has been at the forefront in offering advanced technology solutions to the most demanding customers for over 45 years. It manufactures automatic plants for the production of cubes and products with sawn surfaces salvaged from splitting slabs obtained from sawn monolith blocks. The slabs may have sawn, flamed or bush-hammered surfaces, measuring up to 1600 wide and 600 mm thick. A complete range of semi-automatic or fully automatic machines and plants to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. Each Menhir model is equipped with a low noise, high-efficiency hydraulic power unit; the customer can choose from a number of pump configuration options such as “ramp up” or “variable flow” pumps for adjusting the speed at which the blade starts to exert pressure on the stone to be split. The hydraulic power units may also be fitted with an oil heating or cooling system.
